ABK Workers Alliance Prepares to Launch GWA in Solidarity with Striking Raven Software Employees
Since the initial work stoppage on December 6th, 2021, Activision has continued to fail by not offering any communication or recourse for the workers on strike at Raven Software, the studio behind popular game Call of Duty: Warzone. Meanwhile, the ABK Workers Alliance, an organization made up of workers across Activision, Blizzard and King, prepares to launch Game Workers Alliance, a union effort composed of Raven Software employees across disciplines, to address unfair working conditions, unfair compensation practices, and sexual abuse and misconduct across the company.
“ABK Worker’s Alliance is excited to launch this website in collaboration with Raven Software employees, who are preparing their vote to form a union. We firmly stand by Raven and together we will be the change,” an organizer for the ABK Workers Alliance said while the effort was being prepared.
